On the outside, you might look like you’re holding it all together. On the inside? You feel anything but.
If you’re feeling stretched thin, exhausted, or like you’re moving through life on autopilot – you’re not alone.
Larissa Tate, PhD
Licensed Clinical Psychologist
Founder of Momentum Behavioral Health
I’m Dr. Larissa Tate, and I help people just like you – high-achieving, caring individuals who are tired of pushing through and ready to feel better for real. Together, we’ll create a space where you can exhale. A space that’s safe, supportive, and rooted in the kind of therapy we know actually works. This is where you don’t have to pretend you’re okay. You can just be – and from that place of honesty and relief, we’ll build real momentum toward meaningful change.
Clients often tell me therapy with me “feels different.” Many arrive unsure if change is even possible, but they are hopeful. Over the course of therapy, they begin to feel more grounded, more connected, and more like themselves again. Witnessing that kind of transformation – from “just getting by” to truly living – is what gets me out of bed in the morning.
What makes therapy with me different is how I do it. I’m not a passive therapist — you won’t “just talk” and I won’t “just listen.” We’ll actively work together to uncover what’s keeping you stuck and develop a clear, compassionate path forward. I blend evidence-based therapies with a grounded, human approach. I’m present, warm, curious, and direct – and I bring deep respect for the courage it takes to do this work. I’ll meet you where you are, offer honest feedback, challenge you when it serves your growth, and infuse a little humor when it’s called for. Therapy isn’t necessarily about performing or fixing – it’s about becoming more of you.
My goal is always the same: to help you live with purpose, presence, and peace. Therapy with me is about sustainable change – rooted in your values and designed to support your whole self, both personally and professionally.
If you’re ready to stop spinning your wheels and start building something steadier – more spacious, more meaningful – I’m ready to walk that path with you.
