Therapy for Anxiety & Stress

Reclaim control of your life.

Anxiety and stress can be hard to pin down - but you feel them.

You lie awake replaying conversations. Overthink every decision. Tense up for no clear reason. Even when everything looks fine on the outside, inside you feel overwhelmed — wired, tired, and never fully at ease.

There may be a constant sense of pressure — to perform, to show up, to hold everything together. You may feel like you’re always “on,” but somehow always falling short. You power through the day, but it’s exhausting. And even when you slow down, your brain doesn’t.

Maybe you’ve noticed physical symptoms like trouble sleeping, muscle tension, or headaches. Or emotional ones: irritability, trouble focusing, difficulty enjoying things that used to feel easy. Anxiety and stress don’t just affect how you feel — they affect how you function.

But they don’t have to run your life.

With the right support, it’s possible to quiet the mental noise, respond more flexibly to pressure, and reconnect with what matters most. I used evidence-based approaches to help you shift the way you relate to your anxious thoughts and feelings — so they don’t have to control your decisions or define your day. Together, we’ll work toward meaningful change in a way that’s grounded, sustainable, and aligned with what’s most important to you.

Real change is possible.

Therapy for sleep, anxiety, and trauma. Therapy for physicians and other healthcare providers, attorneys and lawyers, first responders, and active duty military and Veterans.

You’ve likely been managing a lot on your own for a long time. But there’s another way — one where you don’t have to keep powering through and just hoping something changes. One where you can show up more fully for your life, your work, and the people you care about — without burning out.

How I Help.

Acceptance and Commitment Therapy.

I use Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) — an evidence-based approach that’s especially effective for anxiety, stress, perfectionism, and feeling overwhelmed.

ACT helps you build a new relationship with anxious thoughts and feelings — not by trying to eliminate them, but by learning how to respond to them differently so they work for you instead of against you. Together, we’ll work on identifying what matters most to you — your values — and help you take steady, meaningful steps in that direction, even when anxiety and stress show up.

You’ll develop skills to:

  • Respond to worry without spiraling

  • Break free from rigid thought loops

  • Make space for discomfort instead of getting stuck in it

  • Take action based on values, not fear

This isn’t about “just thinking positively” or learning how to push through. It’s about creating space in your life for more flexibility, freedom, and clarity — without anxiety running the show.

You don’t have to live life in fight-or-flight mode.

If you’re ready to feel more grounded, more present, and more in control of your next steps, I’m here to help.
